Dealing: An official selection of the 2007
Slamdance Film Festival.
June McLaughlin is a preternaturally sophisticated seventh grader who just happens to own a successful art gallery. We follow June as she battles her eccentric artist parents, teen-angsty sister Georgia and a pair of Viennese performance artists dead-set on turning their show’s opening into a spectacle the New York art world will never forget.
Performances by Grace Dunham, Carroll Dunham, Laurie Simmons and Donald Rosenfeld, among others. Written and directed by Lena Dunham. Cinematography by Theo Burtis. Sound by Julienne Guffain.
Dealing was a part of Art In General's 2008
Video Marathon.
Dealing is the subject of a blurb in
Teen Vogue magazine.
